Run  For Hope 5k 

 Sunday, May 19th, 2024 - Race starts at 4pm at Coldstream Park

Hope Springs will be hosting their 2nd annual to raise funds and awareness to provide hope to individuals and families through compassionate clinical counseling. The race is being held during the month of May which is Mental Health Awareness Month.

RACE FEATURES

  • Flat, fast course on the paved Legacy Trail at Coldstream Park
  • Commemorative unisex sized race shirts (Sizes S-2XL) while supplies last 
  • Awards for our top finishers

  • Music, fun and fellowship
  • A run/walk event where all fitness levels are welcomed

PACKET PICKUP --- The packet pickup will be held on race day (Sunday, May 19th) from 2:45-4:00pm at Coldstream Park.  We'll be at the RaceRise table.

Intuitive Eating Support Group Coming 2024. 

We are currently accepting participants for the 2024 Fall Intuitive Eating Support Group. This group is aimed at creating an inclusive anti-diet community ready to explore their relationship with food and their body. Together, the group will explore the 10 Principles of Intuitive Eating while placing the individual as the expert of their own body. Each session will review a different principle, fostering a discussion on how to incorporate the concepts into your life. With a support group, you not only get to learn from the facilitator but also the other group members.

What is intuitive eating? Intuitive eating is a framework for "dynamic mind-body integration of instinct, emotion, and rational thought". It is a process designed to work FOR your body and mind, rather than against it.

 All genders are welcome, ages 18+. This group is not intended for those actively recovering from an eating disorder. Please talk to your treatment team and the facilitator to know if the group may be right for you.

This group may be right for you if:

-you are tired of yo-yo dieting and would like to find a sustainable solution for your relationship with food

-you would like to find more attunement with your body's signals 

-foods tend to be viewed as good or bad, and you want to find a way to change that 

-you have heard about or tried mindful eating and want to put it into practice

-you want to find the joy in food again
